Historic Richmond announces an open call for submissions! A key element of our mission is to support the rehabilitation and revitalization of Richmond’s distinctive historic neighborhoods. Historic Richmond protects and promotes the historic buildings and places that make Richmond authentic, beautiful and full of life. Scott’s Addition and The Boulevard serve as a model of Richmond’s future through the rehabilitation of old and the addition of new buildings and places. Funds raised by Historic Richmond will be used for mission-based activities, including educational programs and future rehabilitation, revitalization and preservation efforts in historic neighborhoods and districts. Be a part of the action – get involved as Richmond’s historic neighborhoods fill-in and shape-up to build a wholly vibrant city that embraces the authentic character we love!

Historic Richmond Foundation (“Historic Richmond”) announces an open call to all artists working with any photographic process to submit images for its juried Beyond the Boulevard Event. Artists around the world age 18+, working in any photographic process may submit up to 3 separate images that explore the neighborhood fabric of Scott’s Addition.

The Historic Richmond Beyond the Boulevard Event will be a silent auction of photographic images. Submitted photographs must be taken of streetscapes, interiors or exteriors of buildings or structures, vistas, people and other subjects within the following geographical boundaries:
