The “Beyond the Boulevard” event is a party, art show and art auction designed to raise awareness of the potential needs, challenges and opportunities of revitalization and infill of residential and commercial buildings in Scott’s Addition and The Boulevard. We will celebrate the revitalization of this historic neighborhood at the Hofheimer Building’s loft and rooftop spaces featuring unforgettable rooftop views of Scott’s Addition and the city. Historic Richmond welcomes Alex Nyerges, Director of VMFA, as honorary chairman.
Enjoy local food from Scott’s Addition including Groovin’ Gourmets, The Dairy Bar, Lunch.Supper! and more. Local breweries including Hardywood, Isley and Veil will be served as well as Buskey Cider and a signature cocktail from Reservoir Distillery! Live music from J. Smith Trio on the rooftop!
Historic Richmond announces an open call to all artists working with any photographic process to submit images for its silent auction. Submissions will be judged by photographers Karl E. Steinbrenner and John Henley. Submissions due Thursday, September 1, by 4:00 p.m.
